Robert Mapplethorpe

I feel very ordinary putting Mapplethorpes flowers on my page but his photographs are truly mesmorizing. So many people like his work now that it's becoming pedestrian to like his stuff. However he really did reinvent the way one precieves a flower. I also like his nude work but I am not a fan of his work on children. He died in the late 1980's.
