This photograph from 1888 was just uncovered. It is a photo of Helen Keller with her devoted teacher Anne Sullivan. This is now the earliest known photograph of Helen Keller and news articles are saying it is significant because Helen is holding a doll which is the first word she learned to express. I, along with many others, love Helen Keller, she is one of the people that make American great... she is a true national treasure.
