I love this picture for three reasons - 1. The look on Kate Moss' daughters face, 2. The littler girl is wrapped in fur and, 3. What little girl has fur???? Regardless - I love fur and I love it even more on a spoiled little girl!
I lost all the information on these earrings so the only thing I know about these is that there are seed pearls on them. However - I still think they're cool and I hope you do too.
Let's kick off the fall with a great piece of Americana. This beautiful barber poll has an acorn finial and is dated between 1900-1930. I hope you love this piece as much as me.
Two new cute things from JCrew... they have really stepped up their game. Looove the bracelet on the top. What a cool inexpensive piece. Reminds me of Russian jewelry. Wedding dress is cute - I am slightly bothered by the waistline though and would like it better if it were a drop waist or an empire... thoughts?
Yellow gold and angel coral necklace... same place as the green earrings. Isn't this piece so minimal and matched with a muted color palette it's just a hit.
A man who came across a way to make colorish film before color film was invented. The Library of Congress bought all of the glass slides. The thing that's so amazing is that you start to look through these slides and you're looking at things that in the past were black and white and now you're seeing them in color for the first time. It really changes how you look at history... enjoy! Isn't it amazing?
Okay - so yes I fell off the face of the earth for awhile... sorry about that. Here's a picture to kick things back off. This is called Foghorn by artist Arthur Dove and was painted in 1929. I saw this piece in 2001 loved it and for the past 7 years have been trying to rememeber who painted it. I finally broke down and wrote my Professor who taught me Modern Art and she quickly reminded me. Enjoy!
Hi, Welcome to my blog. I love beautiful things and this blog is about the things I find everyday that are extraordinary. I am not a critic, just an enthusiast. I hope you find inspiration here.
